I wanted to capture the plurality of life in Washington, DC-- in terms of architecture (via the differences in house styles based upon one's neighborhood), in terms of the causes residents believe in (via the different signs on the houses - BLM, No Kings, ICE Out, Palestine), and just in terms of familial and social dynamics (via the different stick figures commuting on the street).
